1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MCPCursor ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your access to and use of the mcpcursor.com website (the "Site") and any related services, including information about Model Context Protocol (MCP) for Cursor IDE (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

2. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. By using our Services after such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes.

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by MCPCursor, its licensors, or other providers and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services, except as follows:

  • Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
  • You may store files that are automatically cached by your web browser for display enhancement purposes.
  • You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

5.2 MCP Protocol and Implementations

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) specification is made available under the terms specified in the repository where it is published. Unless otherwise stated, our reference implementations and examples of MCP are provided under open-source licenses as specified in their respective repositories.

MCPCursor does not claim ownership of the Model Context Protocol itself, which is an open protocol in Cursor IDE. All references to Cursor, Model Context Protocol, and MCP are made for informational and educational purposes only.

6. User Contributions

Our Services may contain message boards, forums, and other interactive features that allow users to post, submit, publish, display, or transmit content or materials. Any content you post to the Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or control all rights to the content you post or have the right to grant the license granted above.
  • All content you post complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Your content does not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.
  • Your content does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.

You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for any content you submit or contribute, and you, not MCPCursor, have full responsibility for such content, including its legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness.

  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate MCPCursor, a MCPCursor employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services, or which may harm MCPCursor or users of the Services.
  • To attempt to circumvent any security measures implemented on the Site or Services.
  • To use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use of the Services.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, resources, and services, including Cursor IDE and MCP servers. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the contents of those websites or resources, and we accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. If you decide to access any of the third-party websites linked to the Services, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such websites.

MCPCursor does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any MCP servers listed on the Site that are developed or operated by third parties. Users should exercise caution and review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party MCP servers before using them.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MCPCURSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

MCPCURSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE BASIS, OR BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, LEGAL, OR SAFE.

MCPCURSOR DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE SERVICES IN TERMS OF CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MCPCURSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

MCPCURSOR SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY ACTIONS RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF ANY SERVICES PROVIDED ON THE SITE. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS PREDICATED UPON YOUR WAIVER OF ANY RIGHT TO SUE MCPCURSOR OR ITS AFFILIATES DIRECTLY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AGAINST MCPCURSOR OR ITS AFFILIATES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MCPCursor, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

12. Disclaimer of Relationship with Cursor IDE

MCPCursor is an independent resource site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Cursor IDE or its developers. All product names, logos, brands, trademarks and registered trademarks are property of their respective owners. The use of these names, logos, and brands does not imply endorsement.

We provide information about the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as an educational resource only. Users are solely responsible for their use of Cursor IDE and any MCP servers, and should refer to the official documentation and terms provided by Cursor IDE for authoritative information.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MCPCursor is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to, or use of, the Services or these Terms shall be instituted in the courts of the jurisdiction in which MCPCursor is established. You and MCPCursor agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15. Waiver and Severability

No waiver by MCPCursor of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of MCPCursor to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference herein constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and MCPCursor regarding the Services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Services.
